Celebrations of Life Using LED Screens

We love being part of family celebrations, even when they are celebrations of life or memorials for lost loved ones.

Another highly emotional event for us this week, with a family who wanted to share picture and video memories during their outdoor memorial. Our daytime-capable LED screen helped make that possible, for all guests to see and hear memories of their loved one.

Earlier this month we were fortunate to be part of a celebration remembering a very unique young girl. Lilley was one of 11 people worldwide diagnosed with a rare degenerative disorder. She had reached so many throughout her short life of 19 years, and the family put together a truly moving video that we showed on our LED screen for all of the caretakers, doctors, parents, siblings, therapists, scientists, and everyone who knew her. She lived to be 19 years old, but reached so many more people than is imaginable in such a short time.

From Lilley’s Obituary, we wanted to share these ways to give and to see how she enhanced the lives of those around her: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Lilley’s Lessons,” Maryland Therapeutic Riding www.horsesthatheal.org (please designate “Lilley’s Lessons” in the website’s donations comment box). Or they may be made to Delrey School www.delreyschool.org (go to Quick Links, Donate Now). Or they may be made to Gilchrist Kids www.gilchristcares.org.
